Jessica and Jon wanted to have their wedding in a beautiful, romantic and picturesque location. It was no wonder then they chose Deerpark and Antler Hill Barn on the grounds of The Biltmore Estate to celebrate their special day with friends and family. The couple who resides in Illinois, fell in love with Asheville on their first visit and knew this would be the perfect destination for their wedding. It was a gorgeous day at The Vista at the Inn on Biltmore with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains when Jessica and Jon said their I do’s. The music of Bella Corda provided a romantic feel during the ceremony and the bride and groom were ushered down the aisle to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” played by the bride’s brother. Guests then made their way to Deerpark where they enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio followed by a three course meal that featured rare big eye tuna for the appetizer, strawberry and parmigiano leaf lettuce salad, and filet of beef tenderloin topped with jumbo lump crab and creole wild salmon as the entree. Guests were pulled out to the patio by the magical sounds of Rupert’s Orchestra, a 12-piece band, where they danced the night away under a star filled sky. The couple said their goodbyes to guests before being eloquently carried off by the Rolls Royce waiting for them outside the front doors. It was a fairytale ending to a very magical day.
