It was easy to see that this couple was meant for each other by the way their guests came together so easily in celebration, already behaving as one big happy family. It rained all morning (with 0% chance in the forecast) but by afternoon, the skies cleared and the outdoor ceremony took place as planned. The barn was a warm glow of candlelight during the reception, with votives on the tables, hanging from the centerpieces, and glass globes dripping from the ceiling. Urban Farm Girl complimented the lighting beautifully with rich warm tones in the flora.
As usual, Celine and Co. put together a delicious and colorful buffet. The Nuts and Berries Salad with sun dried cranberries, maple toasted pecans and pumpkin seeds, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette was especially excellent.
I had the opportunity to work with a local Indie Folk band I’d never worked with before, Even the Animals. They were fantastic, both during the planning phase and in the moment!
