This wedding day was quite the adventure! A warm sunny afternoon gave this Atlanta couple a chance to hike their way through a terrific pre-ceremony photography session. Then, a quick-moving storm rolled in over the pinnacle at Craggy Gardens off the Blue Ridge Parkway, which, by the way, resulted in some stunning shots that you’ll see below. No sweat…this couple didn’t give the rain a second thought! Getting married, after all, is more important than staying dry. After all, there was a big, grand party to attend at the bottom of the mountain. We loved using all the spaces at Highland Brewing Company, and guests experienced the full tour as they moved from the cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. Urban Farm Girl dressed it up with indigenous wildflowers. Black-Eyed Susan brought out the southern fare spread. And, save room for dessert. 50/Fifty The Art of Dessert baked a cake in every flavor imaginable. And, yes, they taste as good as they look – maybe better!
