Black Mountain Sanctuary is a magical place, and the rain did nothing to diminish that magic. No matter what the weather, this venue is spectacular with it’s tall trees, rhododendron gardens, babbling river, and wildlife. And the house is gorgeous and cozy, featuring tons of square footage of screened in porch and fireplaces. I loved that we could utilize the house for the cocktail hour, then transition to the tented lawn for dinner and dancing. Guests were able to thoroughly enjoy all that the property has to offer!

Games are big in the bride’s family, and as a tribute to a much loved way to spend their time together, Amy and Sam chose to have guests sign jenga pieces in lieu of a more traditional guest book. And of course, a giant version of the game was available for play during the cocktail hour.
